As an LED display used for outdoor advertising, it has much higher requirements on the use environment than the general display. During the use of outdoor LED display, due to different environments, it is often affected by bad weather such as high temperature, typhoon, rainstorm and lightning. In order to keep the display safe in bad weather, what precautions should Zhengzhou Hengyuan optoelectronics remind users to pay attention to?
1、 High temperature protection
The outdoor LED display screen usually has a large area, consumes a large amount of power during the application process, and emits a large amount of heat. In addition, the external temperature is relatively high. If the heat dissipation problem cannot be solved in time, it is likely to cause problems such as heating and short circuit of the circuit board. In production, to ensure that the display circuit board is in good condition, try to choose hollow design when designing the housing, which is helpful to heat dissipation. During installation, it is necessary to adhere to the good ventilation of the display screen according to the device conditions, and add heat dissipation equipment to the display screen when necessary, such as installing an air conditioner or a fan inside to help the display screen dissipate heat.
2、 Typhoon prevention The installation positions and methods of outdoor LED displays are different, including wall mounted, inlaid, column mounted and suspended. Then, in typhoon season, in order to prevent the outdoor LED display screen from falling, there are strict requirements for the bearing steel frame structure of the display screen. The engineering unit must design and install in strict accordance with the standards of typhoon resistance grade, and at the same time, it must have a certain anti-seismic capacity to ensure that the outdoor LED display will not fall down and cause casualties and other hazards.
3、 Storm prevention There are many rainy days in the south, so the LED display itself must have a high waterproof protection level to avoid rain erosion. In the outdoor use environment, the outdoor LED display should reach the protection level of IP65, the module should be sealed with glue, and the waterproof box should be selected. The module and the box should be connected with waterproof rubber rings.
4、 Lightning protection (1) Direct lightning protection: if the outdoor LED screen is not within the direct lightning protection range of nearby tall buildings, lightning rods shall be set on or near the top of the steel structure of the display screen; (2) Inductive lightning protection: the outdoor LED display power supply system shall be provided with level 1-2 power supply lightning protection, and the signal line shall be equipped with a signal lightning protector. At the same time, the power supply system of the machine room shall be provided with level 3 lightning protection, and the signal lightning protector shall be installed at the equipment end of the signal entering / leaving the machine room; (3) All LED display lines (power supply and signal) shall be shielded and buried; (4) The front-end of outdoor LED display and the grounding system of the machine room shall meet the system requirements. Generally, the front-end grounding resistance shall be less than or equal to 4 ohms, and the machine room grounding resistance shall be less than or equal to 1 ohm.
